I met J. D. in 1997 on a mission trip in India. He was a great man of God. Afterward, I oftentimes told the story of how he led Principal Bhakto Sundar Sharma to faith in Christ. Mr. Sharma introduced the Gideon team members by name to each classroom, and told the students he had accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior and that the Gideons had a very important book for each of them.600 students in a predominantly Hindu school received God's Holy Word that day. I am grateful for Brother J.D.'s influence in my life.
