James Allen (BIRD ) was an amazing man and friend to me. We had known each other since grade school. Later we in life we caught up with each other when he met and married my best friend Mabel. After that we were together a lot. We shared many Birthdays and Holidays together. I think one of my favorite memories was the night we both ended up in the same jail cell. It was in Ceredo WV and anyone who knows Ceredo knows it was a small, two people cell. I was past out sleeping and all of a sudden I heard him yelling my name and from that point on it was total chaos . We laughed our alcohol buzz off and was later released just to go and have another beer. I love you Bird and you are in my heart forever. RIP My friend.
