Janet Lee Kingery

Janet Lee Kingery, a ray of sunshine in all our lives, has bid farewell to this world on June 26, 2023, at the age of 80 in the sunny city of St. Petersburg, Florida. Born on June 20, 1943, in Athalia, Ohio, Janet brought joy and laughter wherever she went. She was the daughter of the late Lillian and Earl Baldwin and the beloved companion of the late Ronnie Grobe. Janet was a true master at Collection Services, rocking it for an impressive 55 years with her partner and former husband Ron. Janet knew everyone and where they belonged. If you were going to move, Janet probably knew your new address before you did. When she wasn't busy chatting with customers or neighbors , Janet knew how to have a good time. She loved a mild Southern Comfort and OJ , hitting the jackpot on poker machines, hitting the stores for some retail therapy, and hitting up her favorite lunch spots with friends. Preferably all while having a cigarette!! It's safe to say she knew how to live life to the fullest and had a knack for finding joy in the little things. Janet's infectious laughter and warm heart will forever be missed by her daughter Ronda Wilson, wife Jen, Ronda's son Levi Mccommas, son Cale Kingery, stepsons Barry Kingery, wife Stephanie , Jerry Kingery, wife Stephanie and stepdaughter Ginger Nolan, husband Rudy. Her extended family in Columbus, Ohio and St Petersburg Florida, with special mention to Patti and Sherri, her loving caregivers, will miss her day to day presence. Her memory will continue to shine brightly in their lives and the lives of all who were lucky enough to know her. To celebrate Janet's incredible life, a visitation will take place at Hall Funeral Home on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 10 am in Proctorville, Ohio followed by a service at 11 am. We'll then gather for a graveside ceremony to bid farewell to our dear friend, who always knew how to make us smile. As we say goodbye to Janet, please remember her infectious spirit and the way she brightened up every room she entered. She may be gone, but her legacy of love, laughter and kindness will live on forever. Rest in peace, Janet. May your eternal journey be filled with endless joy, love and laughter.
