My all time favorite teacher! Mrs. Dameron brought out the best in all her students. I was terribly shy and terribly smart. She made me feel that both were special gifts that I had to use. She encouraged me to pursue my writing and artistic talents. She always made us laugh. I taught for 34 years. I hope I made students feel like Mrs. Dameron made me feel!

Although we never met Sue, through her 'adopted family' we have come to understand the wonderful person she was to so many people - especially them. Through the years we have come to understand how fortunate she was to have them be a part of her life and how fortunate they were to have her be a part of their life. She will be missed and remembered with great love.
