I just found out that Bob had passed. I met him when I was his English student at WVSU. He was the kindest, funniest and one of the smartest people I had ever met. I just want to say how sorry I am for your loss and you will be in my thoughts and prayers. He was a wonderful human being and had a lasting impact on my life.
We go back to the very beginning of my Huntington life. Every Wednesday as a Marshall University Freshman and sophomore me and several of my friends would go to Calamity Cafe every Wednesday to see you play open mic night! We only knew you then as Bob, you became calamity Bob to us! You were always so nice to everyone and made us all feel very welcome! That was in '97-'98! Seems like forever ago, another lifetime. I met up with you again in my 2nd life as Ashley as a Moonshine Crossing member and Cheri's wife! You were just as nice and friendly as before. I know you will be missed by sooo many people! It's been many years since I've seen a funeral home as packed as yours! I wanted to hug everyone and tell them to cry on my shoulder! You will be missed by everyone. We will all make sure everyone you left behind here on earth is as good as they can possibly be. All my love goes out to your family, friends, and anyone else who is missing you!
