Terry Eugene Lewis

Terry Eugene Lewis, 68, of South Point, Ohio and Thonotosassa, Florida passed from this life on Sunday, November 4, 2018 in his hometown on South Point. Terrys passing leaves a great hole in the lives of many people, yet we take comfort that in death he has been reunited with his wife, Linda D. Lewis. Please also take comfort in the fact that he was in no pain in his passing and went peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by some members of his own immediate family, Chris Lewis, son; Lisa Hogsten, daughter; and grandson Hunter Hogsten. In his dreams, he had been speaking directly to his wife, who has preceded him in death, and it is our belief that he decided in those moments that he had been separated from her long enough and it was his time to once again be with her. It is well known that, Terry possessed of an iron will, and once he decided to do a thing, he let nothing stop him. He was both stubborn and respectable and wonderful in determining how to live his own life, and let nothing dissuade him from his chosen path. He has returned to his wife in Heaven, where she and others of his family, we believe, are waiting with her arms held wide in greeting. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, infant son, and wife, as well as numerous brothers and sisters and in-laws. He is survived by his brother and sisters, Carlyle Lewis, Lois Patterson and Rhonda Dennison-Mays; brother-in-law Charles L. Miller; his son, Chris Lewis; his daughters and their spouses, Lisa Marie and Donnie Hogsten, Terra Dawn and Richard "Pep" Pryor, Regina Ann Lewis-Saiffullah and Kyes Saifullah. He is also survived by several grandchildren, including Hunter Hogsten, Zahky and Jariyah Saifullah, as well as their as-yet unborn sister, and Jayden and Bailey Pryor. Terrys memorial visitation will be held at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. Friends and family are welcome at any time during that period to pay final respects. After a short wait, his cremains and his wifes will be intermingled, the scattering of those ashes to be determined and open to a select few of his closest friends and family.
