What a blessing it was when the Lord brought Brian into our lives. He and Deb met when he was her part time post man. She quickly brought him into our family and he became the best brother in law God could have given me. When I was on chemo he and Debi came and spent there vacation with me. Brian would piddle around and fix all the things around my house that needed attention. He watched as I shook trying to take medication while Debi tried to teach me to administer it. When my Mother became ill, he helped care for her as if she were his own Mother. He would rub lotion on her feet and cut her toe nails. When I married Scott, they would team up with my Dad. When we walked in the door Dad was ready to take them to New to You, the junk yards, deer processing centers, to play pool at Randy’s, anywhere where men gathered and gossiped. It was as if God new Brian would be a huge part of our family.
When Jenna was born, Brian transformed into the biggest doting father. He instilled family values into Jenna. Showing her the love he had for her and her Mother, helped Jenna grow into one of the most loving, respectful young women I know. As Jenna learned to play instruments, Brian would look for new and unique instruments for her, especially guitars. His encouragement of her talents and attendance at every recital, helped her blossom and grow in many directions. Camping and fishing were his passions. Seeing them at Blue Angel, would find Brian cooking up a good breakfast. When Brian found a love for photography, I found him bonding with my friend Margret, seeing who could get the best photos of the Blue Angels flying. They would share tips and help each other with their passions. There were also drones. He would find many places to fly them looking for the unusual from the sky.
Brian was just such a well rounded guy. I give credit to his Father and his siblings for giving him the love that he shared with others. His wonderful sense of humor came from all the mischief the kids got into growing up together.
Brian fought the good fight, finished his course strong, and kept the faith. God welcomed him home with open arms and we will see him again someday, singing in the heavenly choir with that beautiful voice.
With all my love, Brother! Autumn
