My mom Malora Sammons Brown remembers her classmate, Hilda, very fondly. I spoke with Hilda from time to time on Facebook messenger this year and we had some nice conversation. I relayed messages to her from my mother. It is only now that I realize that Angie Kimball that was majorette right before Me married Hilda's son John. Small world I wish I could've told Hilda but she will know someday that I knew Angie. I'm so glad that she knew, and she such a sweet person that she had for a daughter-in-law. You will be missed more than you know Hilda. Very nice to read the accomplishments of your mother John in her obituary. We are a week late finding out that she passed. We are so sorry for your families loss.

Mrs. Hayes was my dental hygiene patient many times over the years! I think she really loved just coming to her sons dental practice to see him! She was so proud of him and all of his success! I'll miss seeing you in the office!
My dad will be one of the first ones to greet you in heaven🙏 he's the one who tells a lot of jokes❤️

I first met Hilda when she hired me in 1979 at Radiology, Inc. which led to my 37 year career with that fantastic group of physicians and staff. Hilda taught me a tremendous amount about the business until her retirement. She continued to stay in touch periodically afterwards just to see how I and all my family were doing. It was always wonderful hearing from her. She was always a good listener and willing to offer her best advice. Special. May she rest in Heavenly Peace and may Jesus wrap his loving comforting arms around John and her family (which she loved very much) during this difficult time and beyond. 🌹

Being my dad's youngest sister, Hilda was my aunt, but for the last 20 years we have shared a marvelous friendship. During our nearly daily marathon phone calls we reminisced about our childhood, exercised our "bragging rights" regarding our children's and grandchildren's accomplishments and just enjoyed spending that time together.
