I Loved that lady so much! She was always fun to be around and had a tremendous sense of humor.
I will never forget the time at Chesapeake High School when it came a sudden rain storm. She had already put Trevor in the school and was hurriedly trying to close up the rear ramp and the van door had blown partially shut. I saw it and was honking my horn, which incited her into laughter and chaos with the rain already soaking her. I opened my door and yelled for her to stop but she was laughing and couldn’t hear or at least understand what I was trying to stop. She ended up crushing the door with the ramp as I recall. I was as devastated as she was because I was watching it unfold in slow motion. I was out getting soaked too but I couldn’t reach her in time. But she did finally quit laughing.
Bless her heart she was such a trooper as was Gary for all things Trevor.
. RIP sweet lady.
