Jesus! Ok!!!! First, my condolences to all the family of this beautiful loving young man. I am praying for the peace of God to rest on each of you. Now to you sir... Dougy, I've seen alot of posts about your contagious smile and I got to experience it firsthand. I remember when I was introduced to you, I could see your smile from across the road, it was so bright and beautiful. I remember getting the biggest hug from you and the way you grabbed your sister out of your dad's arms and gave her a hug, the way that you treated my other children and played with them at the park, it showed me that it was love from the start. And occasionally being on video chat with the kids, that smile and you're love remained the same. You never changed. Your heart was always pure. This is a hard pill to swallow for many, me included. I wish we could have the opportunity back for you and your sister to have that bond. Losing you is heartbreaking, but it has made me notice that some things I need to change. I need to reach out more and be there with the best of my ability for the individuals that have a special place in my heart whether they are near or far and yes sir that is including your other siblings. Lastly, the last imagine I choose to have of you is not of all the videos and pictures I've seen of you in the last week(although they were absolutely beautiful and I loved seeing them) but I can only imagine none more beautiful than that big, bright, beautiful smile you had on your face when you got to the gates of heaven and standing there was Jesus and your mother to welcome you in. So sir, until we see you again, we know that God has you now and all is well. RIH BabyBoy!
We met Dougy at church at Pea Ridge Baptist. Every time we seen Doug he always had a goofy silly disposition. He was always a wonderful teenager and was such an uplifting person and lit up the rooms he walked in. We have fond memories of Doug with PRBC.

Forever I will miss you. You were always down for whatever. You always had my back. Even after you moved away to live with your uncle you were always checking up on me and I on you. I was always so proud of you. you went on to do amazing things. Doug you are one of the bravest, funniest, kindest people I know. I know you will be greeted with open arms by your loved ones already in heaven. Sending all my love with you, rest in paradise ❤️
doug was such a great person . he could make anyone laugh no matter what kind of day they were having. he was going to do so many great things as he already was. you will be loved and missed Doug💔💙
I watched you change right before my eyes. A young man quickly began to form into a great man. There was never a dull moment with you around. Truly blessed to have been apart of your life. Gonna miss you little brother.

I have so many memories from the first time I let you on Halloween a hundred years ago to watching you become the loving and caring young mqn you were. Rest easy Soldier. You are loved and definitely missed.
Doug and I went to Pea Ridge Academy when we were younger. He was always laughing and having a good time, especially when we were winning during kickball and wiffle ball. His smile could light up the room.
