Jan was a good friend to our family. She was devoted to her family members and was a church leader of Johnson Memorial United Methodist. She was always there to give encouragement and advice when you most needed it and most of all to remember Jesus Christ our Lord. Jan Thornton took the Conference by storm while she served as Associate at First Huntington. Her story touched hearts. She was a joy to work with. Her Single Point Ministry welcomed many folks to our congregation. She will be missed.
We all loved Sue , me (Bambi Sullivan) Robin Blanton , Shellie Yapp. We cleaned for her and Grayson and we would go and just enjoy them both . Talking of old and better times. The Bible and about Her and Graysons life on the farm . She will be truly missed ! What a wonderful , sweet kind and Humble servant of the Lord. ❤️
Jan was a wonderful, beautiful lady. She officiated our wedding 40 years ago. She welcomed me into the Oldham family with loving arms. She always kept in touch with our family throughout these many years. We are blessed with precious memories.
