Alaia Dakota Elizabeth Day, infant daughter of Sarah Statz and Austin Day, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandfather, John Statz Jr; paternal great-grandfather, Franklin Day; maternal grandfather, John Statz III; great-uncle, Adam Statz, and uncle, Joe Ausmus. In addition to her parents, Sarah Statz and Austin Day, she is survived by big sisters, Aylah and A’Mariyah; big brother, Theo; cousins, Everly, Camilla, Addilynn, Raegan, Caitlin, Kalie, Emma, Dustin, Robbie, Layla, Brayden, Gracelynn, Oliver, Jennessa, and numerous grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
