Alban Ivan Talbert's Obituary
ALBAN "AL" IVAN TALBERT, 68, of South Point, OH, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, July 10, 2015, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. A memorial service will be at 11 AM Thursday, July 16, 2015, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Rev. David Fairburn officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 AM. Alban was born February 23, 1947, in Logan, WV, a son of the late Geoubert Morton and Tiny Dolores Bartley Talbert. He was a former truck driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Edward Talbert, Donald Talbert, Elaine Burns, Joann McKnight, Geoubert Talbert, Jr., and Judy Gallaway. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Craig Talbert; five children, Dolores Talbert, Diane (Robert) Bell, Teresa Talbert, Jonathan Eric Myers, and Edana Bryan; 10 grandchildren, Michael, Angela, Daniel, Terra, Isaac, Mathew, Christopher, Jessica, Michael, and Dustin; seven great grandchildren, Dorian, Aaliyah, Brianna, Conner, Carson, Kennedy, and Cooper; and several nieces and nephews.
