Alma Lee Ellcessor's Obituary
Alma Lee Wade Ellcessor, 95, of Scottown, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, December 3, 2021 in The Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley, Ironton, Ohio. She was born May 4, 1926, the only daughter of the late Edd and Ola Wade. She was the widow of Harlow Ellcessor, Jr., who she married June 25, 1949. Alma was the last surviving member of the Windsor High School Class of 1944. She was a member of Symmes Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Alma is survived by her daughter, Fran Smith; grandchildren, Darla (Tim) Carpenter, Joe (Lujuana) Smith, Shanna (Chris) Webb and Jami (James) Ross; great grandchildren, Lakkin, Garrett and Grant Foster, Kelsea and Derrek Smith, Collin and Case Webb, Savannah (Elijah) Adams, Franchesca (Ethan) Carver, Payton Hunter and Javin Damron; and great great grandchildren Bryson Easthom, Jax Thacker, Gracie Walizer, Roman Bunker, Landon Smith, Leo Foster, Saige Webb, Sequoia Adams, Jace and Kynston Mack. She will also be missed by family, friends and neighbors. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and George Wade; and a son-in-law Russell Smith. A graveside service will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Monday, December 6, 2021 at Perkins Ridge Cemetery, Willow Wood, Ohio with Pastor Justin Berry officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, December 6, 2021 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to The Windsor Volunteer Fire Department. Condolences may be made to the family at www.ehallfuneralhome.com.
