Anna Jean Clay's Obituary
Anna Jean Clay, of Proctorville, Ohio, born March 7, 1935, went to be with her Lord and Savior at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington WV on Wednesday December 10th 2024. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Etta Pike and father William Eugene Pike, her husband Chester Clay, son David Clay, brother Richard Akers, and brother Jack Spears. She is survived by her children, Mary Black of Huntington WV, Donna (Ernie) Curry, Kelly (James) Dement, and Roger (Stephanie) Clay all of Proctorville Ohio; a special nephew Fred (Lori)Spears of Frt. Meyers Florida, and niece Teresa Akers Romans of Huntington WV: 13 grandchildren: 25 great grandchildren as well as 2 more nephews. She was retired from Price’s bakery in Huntington Wv. Anna was a member of Cedar Street Baptist Church since 2021. She enjoyed relaxing on the back porch with her best friend (Archie) the family dog. A very special thank you to her special care giver Stephanie Clay. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday December 16, 2024 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday December 16, 2024 at the funeral home.
