Anna Louise Hardesty's Obituary
Anna Louise Hardesty, 83, of Chesapeake, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday April 12, 2025 at Riverview Post Acute Care Services, South Point, Ohio. She was daughter of the late Jake and Ida Mae Halleck Adkins. She was also preceded in death by two grandsons Brandon Hardesty and Hunter Faulkner; one sister, Deloris Jean Callicoat; two brothers Ronald and Donald Adkins; sister-in-law Jo Adkins; and brothers-in-law Clinton Prince and Birchard Clark; paternal grandparents Ephraim and Matilda Belle Black Adkins; maternal grandparents Pete and Emma Jones Halleck. She is survived by five children, Kathy (David) Adkins, Randy Adkins, Steven Hardesty, Arnold Hardesty, and Denise Faulkner; seven grandchildren Matthew (Shanna) Adkins, Tonya Adkins, Andrew (Heather) Hardesty, Sam Hardesty, Aaron Hardesty, Michael Faulkner, and Wyatt (Leota) Faulkner; six great grandchildren Beau (Maggie) Adkins, Kinley Adkins, Jacob Carpenter, Hailey Hardesty, Brandon Hardesty, and Jacob Hardesty; one sister Hazel Clark; special niece Diana (Mike) Donahoe; two special nephews Rick Prince and Timmy (Shelley) Callicoat. The family church was Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She loved her home on Bear Creek, her family and friends, and the people of Lawrence County. She enjoyed watching the deer and feeding the birds. She will forever be in our hearts. We would like to thank the staff of Riverview Post Acute Care Services and Hospice of Huntington for all their love and support. Funeral service will be held 12 noon Thursday April 17, 2025 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Pastor Eddie Salmons, officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday April 16, 2025 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio.
