Anna Lou Maynard's Obituary
Anna Lou Maynard, 77, of Crown City, Ohio passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020 at home. She was born April 17, 1942 in Lavalette, WV daughter of the late Clyde and Ellen Walters Blankenship. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Otho Blankenship and one sister Quilla Ratcliff. She attended Bailey Chapel Church and Mt. Zion Church. She is survived by her husband Willis “Shorty” Maynard; one daughter Angela (William) Strait of Crown City, Ohio; two sons Gregory Ray Maynard of Gallipolis, Ohio and Scott (Charlene) Maynard of Crown City, Ohio; six grandchildren Jeremy Circle, Cassandra Strait, Blake Strait, Ryan Maynard, Sean Maynard and Aaron Maynard; two great grandchildren Anna and Paul Circle; three brothers Denny (Donna) Blankenship of Lavalette, WV, Dexel (Wanda) Blankenship of Lavalette, WV and Adrian (Carolyn) Blankenship of Huntington, WV; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Mt. Zion Church, Crown City, Ohio with Pastor Paul Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Swan Creek Cemetery, Crown City, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio.
