Arcielea I. Skaggs' Obituary
Arcielea “Sue” Skaggs, 79, of South Point, OH, passed away on June 17, 2026. Born on July 19, 1946, in Huntington, WV, she was the daughter of the late Tossie and Mel Fortner Skaggs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Danny Crank; sisters, Linda Samples and Melda Sampson, and brother, Butch Skaggs. She is survived by her sons, Ronnie (Sandra) Crank of South Point, OH, and Billy Crank of South Point, OH; daughter, Susie (Allen) Scarberry of South Point, OH; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Roy Skaggs of Huntington, WV and Michael Skaggs of Huntington, WV; sister, Reva Gibson of Mississippi, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, June 22, 2026, at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home in Chesapeake, OH. Burial will follow at Crank Family Cemetery in South Point, OH. A visitation will be held an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at schneiderhallfuneralhome.com.
