Atha Christian, 94, of South Point, OH, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at home. She was born on April 7, 1926 in Wayne, WV. She was preceded in death by her parents Brady Riggs and Hattie Dawson; husband Roy Christian; one son Mark Christian; two brothers Glen and James R. Riggs; and one sister Wanda Davis. She was a member of Tri-State Baptist Temple. She is survived by her two daughters Connie (Monk) Watts of South Point, OH and Gaynelle (Jim) Bond of Ironton, OH; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; one brother Brady Riggs Jr. of Genoa, WV; and several nieces and nephews. Private Family Graveside Service will be held. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, is assisting the family with arrangements.
