Barbara Lorene Anderson's Obituary
Barbara Bennett Anderson, 88, of Proctorville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday July 1, 2025, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia. She was born September 4, 1936, in Huntington, West Virginia to the late Cloris R. and Hilda Miller Bennett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul W. Anderson, daughter Carla Jean Anderson, brother C. Edward Bennett, sister Leila McMahon. She was retired from the Social Security Administration after 31 years as a technical expert. Barbara attended Union Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons Paul W. (Trudie) Anderson Jr., of Columbus Ohio and Allen K. Anderson of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren Angella Anderson and Trevor P. Anderson; and siblings Connie Davis of Georgia, Caroline Anderson of North Carolina, and Judith Bennett of North Carolina. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday July 8, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington, WV. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00-11:00 AM. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ehallfuneralhome.com.
