Barbara Ann Baylous' Obituary
Barbara Ann Baylous (Blankenship), 84, of South Point, Ohio took hold of the outstretched hand of Jesus as He gently led her from this life into eternity to be with Him forever early Sunday morning July 23, 2017. Barbara was faithful to her Savior even as she struggled to remember the details of her life due to dementia. Barbara spent her life serving her Savior as she cared for those at Gutherie Memorial Hospital and Cabell Huntington Surgery Center as an operating room technician. Barbara also served Jesus by using her voice that He blessed her with to lead others in worship at Bride of Christ United Baptist Church and various churches she served at. Barbara was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family deeply and she will be deeply missed. She is survived by her husband of eight years, Bill Baylous of South Point. Barbara is also survived by one sister, Jean (Johnny) France; one brother, John Blankenship; one son, Steven A.
