Barbara Ann Browning's Obituary
Barbara Ann Browning, 86, of Cleveland, OH, formerly of South Point, OH, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026. She was born on May 13, 1940, in Clifton Forge, VA, to the late James Lee Clark and Ida P. Tyler.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Oshel (Buzz) Browning; sister Deanna Lewis; brothers Roger Clark, James Lee Clark Jr., Richard Clark, Elvis Clark; and grandson Justin Lockhart.
She was a cook for troubled youth and the elderly. She loved to help people. She loved to embroider, do word search puzzles, flea markets, wind chimes, plants and her cat Peanut.
She is survived by one son Dean Postell; one daughter Melissa Browning; three grandchildren Stephanie Postell, Tiffany Lockhart, and Brad Postell; multiple great grandchildren; and three sisters Bessie Henderson, Dixie Rickerson, and Debbie McCallister.
Graveside Service will be held 2 PM Friday, June 12, 2026, at Spring Valley Memory Gardens, Huntington, WV. There will be no visitation held. Schneider-Hall Funeral Home, Chesapeake, OH, is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at schneiderhallfuneralhome.com.
