Barbara Anne Cyrus' Obituary
Barbara A. Garrett Cyrus, 83, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 2, 2025. She was born on February 23, 1942, in Huntington, WV. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray D. and Velma Cecil Garrett and her husband of 55 years, John T. Cyrus. She is survived by her two daughters, Patti (Ron) Stiltner, and Susan (Mark) Cisco; three grandchildren, Meredith (Zach) Pemberton, Garrett Legg, and Laura Jane (Korey) Walters; seven great-grandchildren; many precious cousins, terrific friends, and a wonderful church family. Barbara was a member of the Guyandotte Church of Christ. She was retired from Cabell Huntington Hospital and previously worked at the American Red Cross and Marshall University. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery in Huntington, WV. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to Hospice of Huntington.
