Barbara Ellen Lovins' Obituary
Barbara Ellen Lovins, 58, of Huntington, WV, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born February 23, 1965 in Point Pleasant, WV to the late Elwood Jr. and Phyllis (Starkey) Spurlock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her biological mother, Mary Ellen Mullinex; brothers, Tony Spurlock and George Mullinex and sister, Wilma Hammonds. She is survived by her husband, Carl Lovins; children, Meghan Roberts, Brandi Lovins and Bryan Lovins; seven grandchildren, Jalen, Jenna, Jaxon and Reagan Roberts, Nova, Killian and Phoenix Humphreys; four sisters, Blanche Adkins, Stella Pelphrey, Sue Ferguson, Lea Bodmer; brother, Kenny Mullinex and several nieces and nephews. Barbara was a loving mother, wife and Mamaw and loved taking care of her family. There will be a funeral service held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2023 at Prince of Peace Freewill Baptist Church 4637 Piedmont Rd. Huntington, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
