Barbara Ann Patrick's Obituary
Barbara "Bobbi" Dixon-Patrick, 85, of Huntington, WV fell asleep at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, WV and woke up in the arms of Jesus.Our mom was born March 15, 1939, in Wayne County, WV the daughter of the late Otho and Shirley Boyd Dixon.Mom was preceded in death by her sister Betty Brown-Hickman, grandson Michael Joseph Hatten, and friends Pastor Wayne and Janet Carter and Lawrence Miller.Mom is survived by her loving brother, James Nixon and family of Rose City Michigan; her children David Christman and family of Pittsburg, PA. Tommy Hatten of Huntington, WV. Teresa Hatten (Robert Whitney) of South Point, OH. Judy Adkins (Joe) of Chesapeake, OH. Michael and Dina Miller of Huntington, WV. Also, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Our mom also leaves behind her sweet friends, Mary Jane Miller, Debbi Fri, Micah Smith, Lisa Scarberry, LeAnn and George Hapney, Christy Scarberry, Tim Dixon and her Beverly Hills Church of Christ Family.Thanks to Dr. Eugenia Jarrell, Dr. Arvinder Bir, Dr. Silbermins, St. Mary's 6th floor Oncology Nurses and Staff, Emogene Jones Dolin Hospice House doctors and nurses. Thank you for your love, caring for mom, your shoulder to cry on. We Love You!Special thanks to Pastor Dearl Hutchison for your countless hours of visiting mom, your love and for making mom laugh. I thank the Lord you shared Jesus with her. We Love You!Mom, we love you so much. Our hearts are broken. I know that one day we will be together in Heaven. I thank the Lord for you and for giving you to be our mom. Love, Me.Visitation for Bobbi will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH. Funeral Service will take place 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow after the service at Dock's Creek Cemetery in Kenova, WV.
