Barbara Jean Price's Obituary
Barbara Jean Price, 75, was born in Logan, WV on July 12, 1947. Her family was by her side in Huntington, WV when she parted from us on Friday, March 17, 2023 to be with her Heavenly Father.Barbara loved being with family and friends, whether playing games, enjoying music or sharing a good meal. She also had a giving spirit that touched many people. Throughout her life, she was a caregiver to family, friends and neighbors in her community. Barbara's values showed in her actions; always available to lend a helping hand, a listening ear or volunteering at her church. It was well known in her community, if you needed a place to stay, a beautician or a good home cooked meal... "Call Ms. Barbara (Auntie)."In addition to her parents, Odessa and Edmond Williams, Barbara was preceded in death by one daughter, Odessa 'Lee' Williams; three sisters, Geraldine Prier, Wanda Johnson, and Carolyn Cook; two brothers, Willie Driver and Claude Williams.Those left to cherish her loving memory includes her children: Ronda Price Stewart and Randall Price, Jr.; four grandchildren: Alexa, Jaden, Jordan and Marley; one brother: Lovell Williams, three sisters: Betty Frifeldt, Jacqueline Branham, and Valeria Hardy; a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. The family would like to thank the Wellstar Atlanta Oncology staff and Hospice of Huntington for the care Barbara received.

A memorial service will be held Monday, March 27, 2023 at 1pm. Location: Sixteenth Street Baptist Church, Huntington, WV with Reverend Dr. James H. Redd Jr. officiating.
