Barbara Young Whitley's Obituary
Barbara Young Whitley, 66, of South Point, OH, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. She was born on May 29, 1957, in Cabell Co, WV, to the late Donald and Mary Young. She was also preceded in death by one brother Robert Keith Young. She is survived by her husband Richard Ray Whitley; one son George McClellan Sowards; granddaughter Samantha; one stepson Kenneth Whitley and his children Kailey, Christopher, Grace, and Aaron; two sisters Judy Woodall and Patricia Young; one brother David Young; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, with Dr. Kermit Taylor officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
