Barbara was the kindest, most giving person. For years, we enjoyed our chats in her office, talking about our families, mostly. I was thinking about her sometime in the last month, wondering how she was. I'm sorry I just found out about her passing. All the best to her daughters.
I knew Barbara when I taught at Marshall. She was such a wonderful person and was indispensable to the English Department.
