Bernice Eileen Wilson's Obituary
Bernice Eileen Wilson, 93, of South Point, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 9, 2024. She was born June 22, 1931, in Mason County, WV. She was the daughter of John Franklin and Ida Grace Nibert Honaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bernard V. Wilson, whom she married December 14, 1949; beloved daughter, Fonda Lynn Wilson, and 6 sisters and 3 brothers. Those left to cherish her memories are her two sons, John Wilson and his wife, Paula, of Willow Wood, OH, and Jeff Wilson and his wife, Diane, of Mebane, NC; two daughters, Paula Hendershot and her husband, Tim, of Walker, WV, and Nicole Clinton and her husband, Mark, of South Point, OH; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren, and lifelong special friends, Larry and Peggy Lawrence of South Point, Ohio. Eileen was a member of Pentecostal Truth Ministries in Huntington, WV. She was a devoted Christian woman who enjoyed nothing more than serving up huge, delicious meals for family and friends. She was a wonderful cook. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio, with Rev. Tim Porter, officiating. Visitation will be held at 11:00 A.M., one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville, WV.
