Betty Ann Amerson, 71, of Huntington, WV, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. She was born on June 16, 1951, in Marietta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her dad Ted Sanders Vaughn; mom Helen Louise Cobb-Vaughn of Marietta, GA; and four brothers Teddy, Ned, Donnie, and Bobby Vaughn, of Marietta, GA. She is survived by two sons Michael Steve Rainwater (Jennifer) of Snellville, GA, and David "Bud" Leiding of Gainesville, GA; one daughter Andrea Gail Rowe of Huntington, WV; sister Deborah Walker (Jim) of Powder Springs, GA; two granddaughters Kelsey Marie Taylor (Eric) of Snellville, GA, and Hannah Nickole Amerson (Thomas) of Chester, SC; one grandson Michael Sean Rainwater (Lexi) of Snellville, GA; five great-grandchildren Makenna, Annaleigh, and Kynzlie of Snellville, GA, and Elijah and Evanna Lee of Chester, SC; and countless family, friends, nieces, and nephews. There will be no services held. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
