Betty Lou Barrett's Obituary
Betty Lou Barrett, 84, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Saturday March 30, 2019 at home. She was born November 28, 1934 in Cabell County, WV to the late Ruby Ratcliff and Martin Kendrick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by children Fern Booth and Charles L. Booth; her sisters Avinal, Doris Fry, and Elsie Irene; brothers Virgel, Herald, James Joseph, Herbert, Charles, and Eugine. She is survived by her children Ruby DeYoung, Nova McClung, Rose Dearman, Garlodean Thompson, Samuel L. Butler, and Zenna A. Spitler; and many grandchildren; great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; siblins Janet Collier, Wanda McCall, Gladys Slone, and Bernadine Markle; and a special thanks to Martha Arrington who helped and loved her through her darkest hours. She was a Godly influence to all she knew. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday April 4, 2019 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Cremeans Cemetery, Chesapeake, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday April 4, 2019 at the funeral home.
