Betty Jean Beckett's Obituary
Betty Jean Beckett, 81, of Chesapeake, OH, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Legacy Riverview, South Point, OH. She was born on May 14, 1943, in Huntington, WV, to the late Robert Adkins and Nancy Lafon Adkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Beckett and daughter, Tonya Beckett.
She is survived by two daughters, Sonya Beckett Foltz (Jimmie Dale Foltz) and Jimel Beckett Razdan; five grandchildren, Christopher Foltz (Carolyn), Alex Beckett, Megan Foltz, Avery Bourgeois and Maya Razdan; one great grandchild, Landon Foltz and sister, Nancy Gallaher.
Betty was a member of Central Christian Church, Huntington, and a member of the Autism Project of Lawrence County, OH. Bingo was a favorite activity of hers!
There will be a visitation from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home, Chesapeake, OH. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, OH.
