Betty Lee Burd's Obituary
Betty Lee Burd, 87, of Proctorville, OH, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at home. She was born on August 24, 1937, in Huntington, WV, to the late Lloyd and Edith Hardy Hamlin. She was also preceded in death by her husband Lyle Burd; daughter Beverly Sue Burd; and one sister Beatrice Clark. She is survived by one daughter Melodie (Lester) Brumfield; four sons Keith (Dawn) Burd, Eugene (Connie) Burd, Dale (Vickie) Burd, and Scott Burd; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; eight great great-grandchildren; and three nephews. Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, with Pastor Gordan Simpson officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, OH. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
