Betty Jean Chapman's Obituary
Betty Jean Chapman, 81, of Proctorville, OH, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at The Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley, Ironton, OH. She was born on October 19, 1942, in Wyoming Co, WV, to the late Edward and Mildred Deskins. She was also preceded in death by her husband Staff Sergeant Ronald D. Chapman and sister Ann Michaels. She is survived by three daughters Sharon Mack and Ronda Sullivan of Canon, Georgia, and Sandra Ireland of Proctorville, OH; one son Ron Chapman Jr. of Lavonia, Georgia; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters Linda Maynard of Proctorville, OH, and Janice Canterbury, OH; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 4 to 6 P.M. Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
