Betty Louise Dunnam's Obituary
Betty Louise Dunnam, 95, of Ironton, Ohio went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday February 2, 2025 at Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley, Ironton, Ohio. She was born February 7, 1929 in Houston, TX daughter of the late Emory and Frances Dunnam. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law Mary Frances and Clinton F. Morse. She was a graduate from The University of Texas with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. She finished her Masters degree in Christian education from Wheaton College in West Chicago. She was employed by Pflughaupt Accounting and Houston Power and Light. She was a High School teacher in Lytle, Texas. She was employed by Pacific Garden Mission in Chicago and was a Real Estate agent in Chicago, IL. She retired and relocated to the Portsmouth area. She loved the Lord and attended Rubyville Community Church faithfully. She was so offended by Korea executions so she joined the Navy where she served for 13 years. She is survived by a nephew Clinton (Vivian) Morse of Hunt, TX; niece Allison (Dan) Ryder of Lees Summit, MO; niece Sarah (Mark) Bettencourt of Houston, TX; and a host of many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
