Betty Jeanne Hoggett's Obituary
Betty Jeanne Hoggett, 87, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Sunday, August 25, 2019 at home. She was born December 3, 1931 in Proctorville, Ohio daughter of the late Dan and Helen Chapman Elliott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands James Wells and Herb Hoggett; one son Danny (Karen) Wells; and great grandson Jacob Anders. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and a pianist in church for many years. She was also a caregiver for many family members. She is survived by one daughter Melody (Gale) Spears of Proctorville, Ohio; one son Greg (Nancy) Wells of Proctorville, Ohio; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; and many loving friends including her best friend Mabel Schenk. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Heartland Hospice especially Tammy, Sierra and Ashley. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, August 30, 2019 at Beulah Baptist Church, Proctorville, Ohio with Pastor Rob Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio.
