Betty Marie Mayenschein's Obituary
Betty Marie Mayenschein, 93, of South Point, Ohio passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at St. Marys Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born March 10, 1926 in Catlettsburg, KY daughter of the late Herman and Irena McDaniel Ward. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John G. Mayenschein; and one son James Rodney Mayenschein. She was a member of Family Life Worship Center, Ironton, Ohio. She is survived by three daughters Nancy Jean Whitney (Keith) of Nelsonville, Ohio, Virginia Lee Hackworth (Cecil) of South Point, Ohio and Jonda Ann Chapman (Jarvis) of South Point, Ohio; four sons Charles G. Mayenschein (Norma) of Chesapeake, Ohio, Carl Mayenschein (Doris) of Proctorville, Ohio, Darrell Mayenschein (Betty Lou) of South Point, Ohio and David Mayenschein (Sherry) of Logan, Ohio; numerous grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Family Life Worship Center 209 N 2nd Street Suite B Ironton, Ohio 45638 with Pastor Todd Munson officiating. Burial will follow in Burlington Greenlawn Cemetery, Burlington, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ehallfuneralhome.com.
