Betty Lou Porter's Obituary
Betty Lou Porter - dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully on the morning of December 28, 2022, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV at the young age of 66. She was born on April 6, 1956, in Moatsville, WV, daughter of the late Burchell Burke Prichard and Martha Osceola Prichard. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Thomas Eugene Porter of Chesapeake, OH; One very special sister, Stella Butcher of Waxhaw, NC; One son, Jeremy Porter and wife Amber of Kitts Hill, OH, One daughter, Berea Phillips and husband Andrew of Chesapeake, OH; 5 grandchildren Colton Thomas, Aiden Taft, Russell Tate, Maggie Quinn, and Wyatt Andrew. She was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her 6th grandchild, Madilynn Lou due in April 2023. Betty was a dedicated mother and grandmother first and foremost. She treasured her children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. She was loved by all and will be missed immensely. The family will receive friends on Saturday December 31, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Hall Funeral Home & Crematory, in Proctorville, OH. The funeral service will follow with Tim Arthur officiating. Burial will be at Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, OH. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
