Betty June White's Obituary
Betty J. White, 89, of Proctorville, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on July 13, 2024. Born on May 6, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Mina Chandler Galloway. Betty was a retired employee of the VA Medical Center in Huntington, WV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry White; 2 children, Danny Edmund White and Judy Gail White, and 2 grandsons, Jerry Allen Hamlin and Brandon Lee Mattox. She is survived by children, Donna (Bob) Williams of Proctorville, OH, Trish (Aaron) Simpson of Proctorville, OH, Brenda (Ron) Mattox of Crown City, OH, and Tim White of Athalia, OH; siblings, Robert Galloway of Proctorville, OH, and Estelle White of Cayahoga Falls, OH; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren with 2 on the way in December 2024. Betty was loved by many nieces and nephews and will truly be missed by many. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at 1:00 P.M.
