Beulah Frances Doss' Obituary
Beulah F. Mooney Doss, 93, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 5, 2023. She was born February 9, 1930 in Gallia County, Ohio to the late John and Anna Mooney and was the last of 9 children. Beulah (Bea) was a graduate of Fairland High School and worked at Wellman O'Shea Jewelers in Huntington, WV until it was time to raise her family. She married the love of her life, the late Oval Doss on July 15, 1960. She is survived by her two daughters, Cheryl (Tim) Conzett of Proctorville, OH and Karen (Jerry) Lacy of Charleston, WV; four grandchildren, Matthew and Emily Conzett and DJ and Kalissa Lacy. She is also survived by a special sister-in-law, Dreama Doss; several nieces and nephews and very dear neighbors and friends. Bea loved supporting her grandchildren in their various sporting, academic, and artistic events. She was an avid crossword puzzle solver, wonderful cook, loved Elvis Presley, and was always the first to know what was going on around town. Beau was a gentle soul who knew how to get things done. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Hall Funeral Home & Crematory in Proctorville, OH with her great nephew Rev. Timothy R. Webb II officiating. Entombment will follow at Rome Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Condolences may be expressed at www.ehallfuneralhome.com.
