Billy Joe Scarberry, 50, of Huntington, WV went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Scarberry,Jr.; step-father, Carl Carpenter and sister, Pamela King. He is survived by his mother, Loretta Carpenter; his wife, Kathy Scarberry; three daughters, Stephanie (Larry) Salmons, Pamela Scarberry and Kayla (Jesse) Dunfee; one son, Carl Scarberry; three brothers, Robert Scarberry, Jason Carpenter and Carl Carpenter Jr.; one sister, Lorrie Stephens; two granddaughters, Samantha and Shyanne; three grandsons, Harley, Samuel and Elijah; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2020 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2020 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
