Brenda Kay Chapman's Obituary
Brenda Kay Wood Chapman, 69, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021, in St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. Brenda was born on October 29, 1952, to the late Richard and Barbara Wood and was also preceded in death by her brother Richard Wood. She is survived by her husband, Carl Chapman, 2 children Derek Chapman and Sara (Philip) Viars, 1 brother Larry (Karen) Wood, 6 sisters Becky (John) Headly, Pam Hunter, Donna (Kevin) Clarkson, Lou (Michael) White, Linda Wood, Janice (Carl) Locey, 4 grandchildren Shaun and Savannah Chapman, Brianna and Dennis Viars, along with special friend Beverly Buchannan, special friend and aide Debbie Horn, and many nieces and nephews. Brenda was also a member of city council for many years. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Brother Conley Plybon officiating. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio.
