Brenda Sue Jarrell's Obituary
Brenda Sue Jarrell, 65, of Proctorville, OH, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born on October 25, 1959, in Huntington, WV, to the late Fred and Edna Cooper. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her in laws Dink and Hazel Jarrell; son Jeffery Scott Jarrell; brother Fred “Brown” Cooper; nephews Jason and Freddy Cooper; and her favorite pet Dickie. Brenda is survived by her husband John D. Jarrell; son Johnny “Cookie” Jarrell; sister Malinda (Jeff) Moore; grandkids Brittany, Jeffery, and Jeremiah Jarrell, Jarrod Moore, and Halei and Rachel Jarrell; one great granddaughter Annalei; special family of Sara Jarrell and Thomas Leffingwell; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Brenda enjoyed boating, gardening, riding motorcycles, bingo, and spending time with family. Also, the family would like to extend a thank you to all the doctors and staff at HIMG that helped Brenda. Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH. Burial will be held at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, OH. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
