Brenda Aileen Knapp's Obituary
Brenda Aileen Knapp, 72, of Chesapeake, OH passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. She was born February 3, 1951 in Huntington, WV to the late Herbert and Marvil (Knight) Godbey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Mount and Keith Godbey and one sister, Annette Collins. She is survived by her husband, Bernard Knapp; two daughters, Sandy (Greg) Jenkins of Barboursville, WV and Crystal (Johnny) Baker of Huntington, WV; one son, Bernard II (Rhonda) Knapp of Huntington, WV; six grandchildren, Marah (Susan), Emilee, Joshua, Shawn Jr., Jessica (Steven), Amanda (Walter); four great grandchildren, Skylar, Grace, Aubrey and Jace; two sisters, Cheryl Sowards and Vickie Godbey and several nieces and nephews. There will be a funeral service held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Hall Funeral Home & Crematory in Proctorville, OH with pastors Ray Knapp and Harold Hamlin officiating. Burial will follow at Greenbottom Memorial Park in Lesage, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Condolences may be expressed at www.ehallfuneralhome.com.
