Brenda Lou Thompson, 53, of Lawrenceburg, KY, formerly of South Point, Ohio passed away Wednesday January 2, 2019 at Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington, KY. She was born September 8, 1965 in Lexington, KY to Josephine Carman of South Point, Ohio and the late Jerry Bishop. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother Floyd Wayne “Mutt” Cox. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Robert Thompson; children Donny (Kristian) Carman, Chris Carman, Joey (Amanda) Carman, Becky (Bobby) Stewart, Carla Cooper, Lonnie Cooper, and Michael (Alex) Karbo; siblings Chrystal (Eric) Taylor, John Bishop, James (Sam) Cox, Terri (Jerrod) Willett, Kim (Travis) Lynch, Michelle (George) Murdock, LaDonna (Josh) Poe, and Kayla (Adamm) Freeman; grandchildren Kaitlyn, Bryce, Ciara, Brianna, Michael, Megan, Icyss, Kristina, Joey Jr., Jordan, Malayia, and Destiny. Funeral service will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday January 5, 2019 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio.
