Brenda Webb's Obituary
BRENDA CRAGER WEBB, 62, of Chesapeake, OH, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, November 10, 2015, in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral service will be 12 Noon Saturday at Getaway Community Church with Pastors Harold Hamlin and Justin Berry officiating. Burial will follow in Getaway Cemetery. Brenda was born March 3, 1953, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of Wanda Canterbury Crager and the late George Crager. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ricky L. Crager. She was a very active member of Getaway Community Church for over 35 years, where she taught Sunday School, was a youth leader, sang in the choir, and organized a puppet ministry. Brenda was a beautician who made many women beautiful through the years. She loved traveling, especially cruising. Brenda loved life and always put others needs before her own. She loved to have fun with her Red Hat Sisters. In addition to her mother, Brenda leaves behind many special people including the love of her life, Sid Webb; her sister, Vickie Crager; her nephews, Ricky (Shayna) Crager, Jr., Chris (Brittney) Crager, and Derek Crager; her great nieces and nephews, Adelyn, Christian, Avery, and Jase; her aunt Sue; cousins, Terrie and Julie; friends Tonnia, Brenda, and Wanda; her four legged friends; and far too many more special people to name. Visitation will be 6 to 9 PM Friday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home and two hours prior to the service Saturday at the church.
