Brendon Tyler Spears' Obituary
"Ty" Brendan Tyler Spears 35, of Huntington was a loving and loyal father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He is now at peace as he went to be with the lord on February 24, 2021 in Huntington WV after a losing a long struggle with addiction. Ty was born April 23, 1985 in Huntington WV, to Vicki Queen and Les Spears. Ty never wanted to be defined only by his addiction and mistakes he was a loyal, loving Christian who fell into its grip. It can happen to anyone, especially here. His warm and positive energy combined with his charismatic personality made him always fun to be around. He loved to play music, be outside and most of all, spend time with his wife, kids and family. Ty never stopped loving anyone, even as he became more and more consumed with his fight, edging closer to rock bottom. Addiction doesn't discriminate, it will take hold and destroy anyone in its path including the families and people who love them. Addiction hides in the faces of everyday people all around us here. Ty isn't just another statistic or just "another one gone too soon", he had a great heart with a bright future and a gift that the world lost that can never be replaced. So the best way to honor Ty is for people who read this or knew him to think twice before you judge an addict or a homeless person. Ty is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Kellie Spears of Huntington, his daughter Sadie and son Alistair, his mother Vicki Queen, father Les Spears, brother Mike Spears (Tiffani Rodgers), sister Erin Nicole McBride, sister Sydnee Spears, brother Morgan Jameson (Kayleigh Martin) Step Mother Denice Jameson and Step Father Jody Queen. The family has made private arrangements to celebrate Tys life.
