Bruce Allen Lewis' Obituary
Bruce Allen Lewis, 73, of Chesapeake, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at his residence. Born on December 30, 1951, in Huntington, WV, he was the son of the late Herman Fred and Yvonne Jean Brammer Lewis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gena Ross Lewis; brother, Fred Lewis; grandson, Cody Webber, and stepdaughter, Brandi Ferguson. Bruce was retired from St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington. An avid fisherman and hunter, he loved being outdoors. He fished with his friend, Tim, any chance he got. Bruce is survived by his daughter, Tammy Webber; stepson, Del Ferguson; grandchildren, Whitney Adkins, Adrienne Ferguson, Alayna Ferguson, Jayden Ferguson, and Dakoda Crank; niece, Lisa Lovejoy; lifelong best friend and neighbor he loved like a brother, Tim Crouch; aunt, Donna Brammer Murdock of Ironton, Ohio, and many special cousins and friends. The family would like to acknowledge Bruce's special brother and sister-in-law that meant a lot to him, Delbert and Missy Ross. A Celebration of Life dinner will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, November 22, 2024, at the VFW Post #6878, 32 Allen Lane, Proctorville, Ohio, 45669. The service will be conducted by Rev. Jack Finch.
