Bryon Tremele Thompson's Obituary
Bryon Tremele Thompson "Bo Leggz" of Huntington, WV went to his eternal resting place on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the age of 53.
Bryon was born April 21, 1971 in Huntington, WV to Merchant William Thompson and the late Ida Louise Black Thompson. Bryon attended school in Huntington, WV and San Antonio, TX. He was a former employee of the Huntington Housing Authority.
Bryon was preceded in death by his infant son, mother, grandparents Robert Black and Willie Mae Jackson Harper and his nieces Nashaya and Maeshelle Audu. His memory will be cherished by many, especially his father, son Bryon T. Cochran of Charlotte, NC; daughters Keirren and Bryonna Thompson of Camden on Gauley, WV, Mariah (Brandon) Thompson Wiggins of Hurricane, WV and Jasmine Slaughter, and his grandchildren, brother Terry Thompson of Huntington, WV, sisters Nicole Thompson of Huntington, WV and Lisa Thompson of Michigan, nephews Darrious and Andre "JR" Branch of Huntington, WV and nieces Destiny Thompson of Detroit, MI whom he affectionately called "Hunny Bunny" and Malaysia Griffin of Charleston, WV., uncles, Robert Miller and James Jackson; aunts, Roberta Fox, Susette Simms and Norma Keith. He also leaves behind great nieces, great nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
Bryon was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Longhorns and San Antonio Spurs. He enjoyed watching his teams play win or lose and trash talking with his friends about sports. He also enjoyed grilling.
Bryon will be missed by all that loved him. He is now resting in the arms of God and his mother.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 3 PM at the Underwood Center, 632 9th Avenue, Huntington, WV for family and close friends, ONLY. Please wear Dallas Cowboys gear/colors in honor of one of Bryon's favorite teams.
