Bryston Lee Adkins' Obituary
Bryston Lee Adkins, 6, of Proctorville OH passed away on Friday August 1, 2025. He was born September 9, 2018 in Huntington WV to Freddie and Brooklin Adkins. He was a 1st grade student who attended Chesapeake elementary school. He was preceded in death by his Mimi Bernice Adkins, & Mimi Heather Matney. Although his time on earth was brief, Bryston touched everyone who knew him with his infectious smile and boundless energy. He lit up every room he walked into and would outwit anybody he had the chance to. Bryston loved to be in the garage and on the Harley alongside his papaw and daddy. Bryston also loved to help mommy with baby sister and steal all of the night -time cuddles.
Bryston is survived by his loving parents, Freddie & Brooklin Adkin; his sister Brystil Adkins; aunts and uncles, Amanda Adkins, Brittany Nance, Steven Reger, Micah Matney and Jimmy Matney; grandparents Timothy Adkins, Michael Matney, Karen Hall, and Steve Reger; cousins Alora, Emma, Easton, Cooper, Raelynn, and an entire community who loved him. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday August 8, 2025 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation alongside his Mimi Heather Matney will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday August 7, 2025 at the funeral home. A donation account has been set up for Bryston at WesBanco in Proctorville.
